Community & Child Safety Standards

1. Prohibited content and behavior

Users may not use Pageant Atlas to create, upload, request, send, promote, encourage, or facilitate:

• threats, stalking, violence, harassment, bullying, hate, or targeted abuse;
• doxxing, unauthorized disclosure of another person's private or contact information, or attempts to bypass privacy and guardian controls;
• impersonation, scams, fraud, illegal sales, trafficking, or other unlawful activity;
• nudity, pornography, sexually explicit material, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
• CSAE, CSAM, grooming, sexual exploitation, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, or child trafficking;
• content designed to evade moderation, reporting, blocking, age protections, or account-security controls.

2. Children and teens

• Profiles known to be under 13 cannot independently use Pageant Atlas Community in the current beta.
• If age cannot be established, Community access is restricted rather than assuming the user is an adult.
• Teen features use guardian/household controls and more restrictive privacy defaults.
• Child and teen safety controls are enforced on the backend, not only by hiding buttons in the app.

Adults managing family profiles are responsible for providing information and consent only where they are authorized to do so.

3. Reporting and blocking

Pageant Atlas provides in-app mechanisms to report safety concerns, objectionable Community content, users, and direct messages. One-to-one messaging includes user blocking. Public Community experiences provide reporting and user blocking controls.

Reports involving child safety, credible threats, exploitation, or other high-risk conduct may be prioritized or escalated. Reported content may be quarantined while it is reviewed.

4. Moderation and enforcement

Pageant Atlas uses moderation controls appropriate to its Community features. New or higher-risk Community material may be held before publication, and reports can trigger quarantine or staff review. Authorized moderation functions are separated from private family/Binder data and do not provide blanket access to private family storage.

Depending on severity and context, enforcement may include removal, quarantine, feature restrictions, blocking, account suspension or deletion, evidence preservation where legally appropriate, and reports to relevant authorities.

5. Child protection & response

Pageant Atlas has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation and is designed to respond promptly when serious child-safety concerns are identified.

Content or behavior that violates these standards may be removed or quarantined immediately. Accounts may be restricted, suspended, or removed.

If Pageant Atlas obtains actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or qualifying child exploitation, the service will take steps appropriate to the circumstances and applicable law. These may include restricting access to the material, preserving necessary report information without unnecessary redistribution, preventing further sharing, restricting the responsible account, and making required reports to NCMEC's CyberTipline or the appropriate regional/law-enforcement authority.

Pageant Atlas does not permit users to use reporting or moderation tools to solicit, redistribute, or unnecessarily reproduce suspected CSAM.
